We support and promote Global Sustainable Tourism Council (GSTC) standards for hotels, giving us access to over 15,000 accredited properties worldwide. Each accommodation with GSTC certification ensures that sustainability principles are followed and that environmental impacts are minimized.

We aim to highlight our partners in the transport sector who are working to create more sustainable and climate-smart travel. By providing information about their sustainability strategies on our website, we want to make it easier for you to choose green options when traveling.

In 2024, Sembo took a major step forward in our sustainability journey by joining Travelife – one of the leading environmental certifications in the travel industry. This marks the beginning of a more ambitious effort to integrate sustainability into every aspect of our business.

We have appointed a Sustainability Coordinator to lead our initiatives and launched focus groups to explore how we can help our customers make more environmentally conscious travel choices. By developing a sustainability policy and a concrete action plan, we have started identifying where our efforts can make the greatest impact.
