Chalet Casanou - Saas-Fee

Surrounded by the Valais Alps and with fantastic views of the surrounding mountains, this holiday home Chalet Casanou offers pure relaxation. The holiday home has room for a total of 12 people and was renovated in 2010.
The house has a total of 5 bedrooms. Two of them are on the ground floor as well as a bathroom.
If you go up one floor you come to the cosy living/dining room with fireplace. From the living room you can access the balcony with a view of the Alps. The spacious kitchen invites you to cook Valais specialities together. There is a third bedroom and a bathroom on this floor.
On the top floor of the chalet are the two further bedrooms. A cot is available on request and for a fee.
This holiday home is perfect for relaxing days after a wonderful hike in summer or a beautiful day in the snow. The garden seating area with a view will help you do just that.

Please note: Saas-Fee is completely car-free, only electric vehicles have access. Cars can be parked in the car park at the entrance to the village or in the multi-storey car park for a fee.

Become a citizen of the free holiday republic of Saas-Fee with its four villages Saas-Fee, Saas-Balen, Saas-Almagell (the home of former ski star Pirmin Zurbriggen) and Saas-Grund. The citizen's pass is a value-added guest card that offers all guests to the region numerous attractions, such as free use of the post bus/ski bus throughout the Saas Valley. The citizen's pass is valid from the first overnight stay and on the day of arrival or departure. Summer

During the summer months, the entire Saas region is covered by a network of over 350 kilometres of hiking trails. Starting from your Novasol holiday apartment, you can make the most of it. The themed and adventure trails are particularly popular with families with children. With a bit of luck, you can observe and feed the tame marmots on the marmot trail. This is also possible in other parts of Switzerland, where you are surrounded by mountains.
In Saas-Fee, 70 kilometres of well-marked bike trails are waiting to be explored by you. Mountain and e-bike hire as well as guided bike tours are available and can be booked or hired from the Intersport shop in Saas-Fee.
The golf course of the Golf Club Matterhorn is located between the villages of Randa and Täsch. At an altitude of 1,400 metres above sea level with views of the Breithorn and Matterhorn, you can play the 9-hole, par 36 course over a length of 2,931 m from May to November. The terrain is mostly flat and therefore easy to walk.

Winter

A truly magical moment! Saas-Fee is the winter paradise in the Valais holiday homes in the Upper Valais for winter sports enthusiasts of all ages. The region around Saas-Fee is served by around 22 ski lifts and mountain railways. Skiers and snowboarders can discover a fairytale winter paradise with over 100 kilometres of groomed pistes. Surrounded by a magnificent mountain backdrop, including 18 four-thousand metre peaks, the ski area fulfils every wish. There are also 20 km of winter hiking trails, 8 km of cross-country ski trails, 11 km of toboggan runs and various toboggan runs for a varied change of pace. Thanks to its location, snow is guaranteed from the end of October to the beginning of May.
Snow-covered trees, wide expanses of snow and a marvellous panorama invite you to go on extensive snowshoe tours or peaceful winter hikes. Enjoy the peace and quiet, recharge your batteries and soak up the beauty of nature on one of the winter hikes. The well-maintained hiking trails of the Saas Valley take you to the most beautiful vantage points in our region.
