Here at The Old Manse of Blair you can relax and dine in luxurious surroundings in one of the most beautiful listed buildings in Highland Perthshire. The Orangery is a beautiful relaxing environment in a wonderful heritage setting perfect for celebrating in style and creating magical memories. The Orangery has been awarded a five star grading from Visit Scotland and the AA in 2019. You will find a warm atmosphere, serving Scottish contemporary food sourced from the incredible local larder available in Highland Perthshire. All the character of a 200 year old Highland Estate complete with luxurious yet understated interiors make each of the twenty six rooms a unique stay. The design of the whole estate has been created from the concept of a love of nature with inspiration from the immensely beautiful and majestic surroundings of the Cairngorms National Park, at the heart and with high quality evident throughout the whole estate.

We are pleased to introduce ten luxury walled garden rooms all designed in a botanical theme in keeping with the nature and setting here in the Cairngorms National Park. The rooms are named after traditional botanical species found in the National Park. All Walled Garden rooms have private entrances with patio areas with open countryside views. These rooms all have super king size beds which can also twin on request, a seating area and luxury wet room.

We accept dogs in some rooms depending on size and breed. A nightly charge applies per dog. All the dog friendly rooms have direct access outside and are on a ground floor position. Dogs are not permitted in the public spaces within the main building or the restaurant and must not be left unattended in rooms at any time. However, dogs are welcome in the Courtyard if you are dining alfresco (weather permitting).

The area has a lot to offer. Many activities await you. If you’re visiting the area with children they’ll love the thrills of the Landmark adventure park, a 45 minute drive away at Carrbridge in the Cairngorms National Park. There’s lots of brilliant Wee Adventure activities too to keep children of all ages amused in the great outdoors!
